Connor Lee Wen is an MBA candidate in the class of 2025 pursuing a concentration in Real Estate Finance. Connor grew up in Ottawa, Canada and moved to Austin, Texas in 2012. Connor received his B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University with university honors. Prior to McCombs, Connor’s experience includes commercial real estate acquisitions at Casoro Group and portfolio management at Utah Retirement Systems. At Casoro Group, Connor oversaw acquisition efforts for value-add multifamily strategies for all major markets of Texas. At Utah Retirement Systems, Connor was engaged with the multifamily, retail, industrial, and specialty product teams.
In addition to his role as GRES President, Connor is also a board member of the E4 Real Estate Education Foundation, a non-profit focused on closing the generational wealth gap through real estate education, and a Portfolio Manager for the McCombs Real Estate Investment Fund. Outside of McCombs, he is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, and the Real Estate Council of Austin. In his free time, you can find Connor organizing motorcycle group rides around town, playing tabletop strategy games with friends at Vigilante Gastropub & Games, or spending time with his family.
